Meet The Team That's Going To Train You To Smash Your PB's
John Beattie
John has represented Great Britain and England at the Commonwealth Games. He finished in the top 20 at London Marathon in a time of 2:16 and won a gold medal at the European Cross-Country Championships. It hasn’t been all highs though, having been wheelchaired away from the finish line (in a GB vest) at New York Marathon after collapsing and being unable to get back up. This drove John to help others avoid the mistakes he had made and has since turned passion into profession, founding award-winning business Move Better Run Better, which has helped hundreds of runners all over the world to smash their PB’s.
Tom Boardman
Tom is a Great Britain International, having represented GB at the World Cross Country Championships in Japan in 2006. He ran sub 30 for 10k and still competes to this day. Like John, Tom competed as a student athlete in the American NCAA system, whilst on an athletics scholarship at the University of Butler. Tom has helped many Move Better Run Better marathoners to smash their PB’s. He has also worked as an Elite Sport Tutor at Loughborough College and mentored dozens of athletes on the UK Athletics AASE program.
Lilly Adkins
Lilly worked with an Olympic athlete for several years before transitioning to become a sports massage therapist where she worked with many elite athletes. Through her own experiences of overcoming serious injuries including hip surgery and 15-pins and 2 plates in her ankle, she used Strength and Conditioning to prove the doctors wrong and to still be able to continue to run pain free. This inspired Lilly to become a Strength and Conditioning coach and she has since helped hundreds of runners to avoid and overcome injuries and is now head S&C coach at Move Better Run Better.
